Gig and Sporting Event photographer

My passion for photography has been developing for a long time! I always had a box 35mm film at University, while backpacking across Scandanvia, and every holiday I would take hundreds of 35mm film photos.

I love to capture an image in the instant. Something people will interpret in their own way to whatever way they want. 

An image should make people look and view every aspect of the picture not just the inside of the frame. They should look deep at the picture, look into it and then around the image and then look out. 

I want to capture the feeling, the idea, the thought, the atmosphere at the instant the picture was taken and keep it frozen forever for others to see and think about.

Since late 2015 I have been freelancing with Geosnapshot, a photography agency who provide volunteer photographers at various events. 

Since May 2017 I have been Freelancing with another agency, GetSnapt, based in Adelaide. With these agencies I can either attend a prior arranged sporting events, or can arrange with the Event Organiser my attendance or as an Affiliate provide other photographers to attend. 

This was a great way to start developing my experience and building up a portfolio. 

I took the initiative to develop my portfolio and began to photograph Friday night gigs at local venues and sharing the final edited work with the band and on social media. 

This has lead me to where I am today, providing a way for people, Clients, and potential Clients to see my work and contact me.
